How It Works
- Submit Your Items – Contact us with information and photos of the items you’d like to sell.
- Get Approved – We’ll review your items and let you know which ones we can accept.
- Send Them to Us – Once approved, ship your items to Reincycle Tack & Apparel.
- We Handle the Rest – We photograph, price, list, market, and ship your items when they sell.
- You Get Paid – After your item sells, you’ll receive your portion of the sale according to our consignment terms.
What We’re Looking For
We accept quality new and pre-owned equestrian items in good, clean, usable condition, including tack, rider apparel, horse apparel, and accessories. Items are accepted based on condition, brand, demand, and resale value.
Consignor Payouts
Consignors are paid based on the final selling price of each item:
- Under $50: Consignor receives 50%
- $50–$149.99: Consignor receives 60%
- $150–$299.99: Consignor receives 65%
- $300 and above: Consignor receives 70%
Payouts are issued via Venmo or PayPal approximately 7 days after the sold item has been delivered to the buyer. This allows time for the transaction to be completed and any customer concerns to be addressed. Any applicable refunds, returns, chargebacks, or adjustments will be resolved before payment is issued.
The payout percentage is based on the actual final selling price of the item after any discounts or markdowns.
Consignment Period & Unsold Items
Items will generally be listed for a 90-day consignment period. Reincycle Tack & Apparel reserves the right to adjust pricing or offer reasonable promotions or markdowns during the consignment period based on market demand.
If an item has not sold by the end of the 90-day period, the consignor may choose to have the item returned at their expense or donated.
Consignors will be contacted at the end of the consignment period. Items that are not claimed or for which return arrangements have not been made within 30 days of notification may be considered abandoned and may be donated or otherwise disposed of at Reincycle Tack & Apparel’s discretion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Final Inspection of Consigned Items
All items are subject to a final inspection upon arrival. Approval based on submitted photos or descriptions is preliminary. Reincycle Tack & Apparel reserves the right to decline an item if its condition, authenticity, cleanliness, functionality, or resale value differs substantially from the information originally provided.
If an item is declined after arrival, the consignor will be responsible for the cost of having the item returned.
